Introduction to Rendering in 3dsMax 2009
What is covered in this training product?
The basic and fundamental skills that are required by students and newcomers to 3d rendering are taught with this training product. In this training series, we will begin with the bare basics of rendering in CG with 3dsMax. We will go over the basic rendering tools of 3dsMax and gradually move on to more advanced lighting and rendering features used to create images of photorealistic quality. Some of the topics and subjects we will cover include direct lighting, photometric lights to achieve real world lighting using light profiles, as well as indirect illumination using the Light Tracer and Radiosity to mimic the way light energy behaves in the real world, which is vital for achieving photo realistic renders. This training product includes all project files and assets needed to follow along with the instructor. Project files require 3dsMax 2009 and up.
