What is covered in this training product?

This training series covers the most important aspects of rendering with mental ray within Softimage for beginners. We begin with the easiest principles and features of mental ray and gradually move onto more advanced features in a way that is easy to understand and follow, as every step of the process is explained and covered in detail. By the end of this training series, you will have the knowledge necessary to render out photo-realistic scenes for use in architectural, product, and CGI renderings.

Some of the training highlights include: area lights, final gather, global illumination, caustics, daylight systems, controlling and fine tuning mental ray’s powerful lighting features for quality and speed among others. mental ray has never been easier to learn. This training product includes all project files and assets needed to follow along with the instructor. Project files require Softimage 6.5.
